The Doctor frowned slightly and pressed the button that Tony showed him was the communication system. "Hello, this is the Doctor here, Tony and I are 'experimenting with the controls. If anyone notices something change could you please report to the bridge."

Several shiny, silvery balls came floating into the bridge after the Doctor's announcement. "You are the one from the clever blue box, correct?" one asked.

"It's fascinating technology," said another. They were hard to tell apart by look or voice alone.

The Doctor looked to the shiny balls, so these must be the ghosts that Marvin talked about. "You mean my TARDIS? Yes, she's beautiful isn't she."

"She dematerialises into the Time Vortex and travels through that to her destination in time and space before materialising at the coordinates I set." The Doctor knew the basics like any Time Lord should...unfortunately he had a sneaking suspicion that he fell asleep in that class...
