Babylon For Us: A Science Fiction Roleplay
Gren is feeling a lot better, almost 100% now which he'd never expected, and since he no longer felt like he'd pass out if he moved too much he decided to go take a look around the station. He hadn't expected it to be so quiet, and he was hoping that he'd run into someone.|
Here's someone in the form a rather forlorn Betan. Bel had finally had its fill of the little beeping robot and needed a person to talk to. Anyone. How pleasant that here was one right in its way.
"Hey there! Who're you? I'm Bel Thorne."
Gren is glad to see an actual person in the endless empty hallways as well, and he smiles at Bel. "Nice to meet you, Bel. I'm Gren Eckner. Is this your station?"
"I don't claim that honor. Did you meet the depressing big-headed robot?"
He pauses to think for a moment, he hadn't been in the best condition when he arrived, but he remembers quickly and nods. "Yes, I have. Do you mean that it's his station?"
"I don't think it's his either, but he seems to be in charge of things here." Bel grins.
Gren chuckles, then composes his face and deadpans in a fairly decent impersonation of Marvin, "How depressing." He grins.
Bel laughs out loud at that. "Have you been here long then?"
"A while. ...I've spent most of it in the infirmary, so I haven't seen much of the station yet."
"Well, there isn't much to see. It's a trash heap."
He looks around. "Not quite, it seems to still be running, at least."
"We can count that as a blessing I guess."
After hearing from Tony that people had started showing up, Dorothy decided to take a look around to see who or what they might be. Luckily, it seems that others have the same idea, as well.
"Hello," she said, coolly looking the stranger over from a distance.
